    Default Delacroix- Sweet Water Marina


    Im headed down to delacroix area at the sweet water marina going to be duck hunting and fishing this weekend....anyone familiar with the area? how has the fishing been down that way? I know it aint much crappie fishing down there but the reports im hearing is the trout fishing is on fire right now.....im looking forward to a good time..

    Can't help ya much on the fishing reports. But got a buddy posting limits of ducks early every morning including some big ducks not just teal.

    Don't want to totally mislead you. His father was a waterfowl biologist for Louisiana when we were kids. So them guys know those ducks inside and out. But the ducks are there. Hope you have a great trip.

    Yea ive been checking that, we aren't actually fishing and hunting with their guide service, my buddy had a camp about 400 yards from Sweetwater place
