    After looking at the options. I'm leaning heavily towards the 10'6" Grizzly elite brush rod. I want a light rod with some backbone as I will regularly encounter catfish, especially in the spring.

    I use ten footers. But I fish out of a small boat and I'm real close to the water. Bigger boat maybe longer rod.
