Exclamation Louisiana posts south vs north

I have been a member for a long time and seems like I remember a discussion about a north Louisiana board and a south Louisiana board. I would rather see what people are catching around here vs some place down south. Just my opinion. I mean I'm not going to bayou Sorrel to fish and I'm sure they aren't coming way up here. I will say the Crappie are starting to bite in Mooringsport!!!

Well....I guess you could just look at the threads for the areas that you fish. But I enjoy reading and seeing pictures of what folks are catching no matter where plus there is always something you can learn from them and you might make some new friends. No....I do not think we are going to divide any of the state boards here on C.C. Glad the fish are biting in Mooringsport.....feel free to post a report and some pictures.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I'm with G on this. I have never fished down south, but until this summer, I've never owned my own boat, so I might. Any insight on what's going on down there is welcome. If I don't ever make it down there, I still enjoy reading other's posts and pics.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

Totally agree with "G". I enjoy seeing what my South Louisiana friends are doing!

In the spring the spawn starts down south first in the winter the bite starts north first. good things to know A better answer is have everyone put their city on their profile. Tight lines with a thump.

If you did you'd probably not go back north.

One problem is that there is a lot of overlap in the center of the state. People from North and South LA fish in that region. I agree with all putting their town in their profile. That narrows things down a lot.

I agree with G on this. The only discussion I remember about a North vs South was from a post I had made back in 2005 (I believe) and it was about a North vs South fishing tournament at Larto lake, NOT separate boards. I enjoy reading what and where everyone is catching. Heck I am from Lake Charles and will be heading to Farmerville (Darbonne) next weekend to fish. I totally agree that you should have your city in your profile and wish that it was a requirement but that's just me.
