I grew up fishing salt water and very limited fresh water. I am disabled with a little boat and want to make one or two trips to the lower part of the Atchafalaya basin. I am looking for a map or info on the newer boat launch at Bayou Pigeon? I read a lot an also would like some info on cross bayou. I fish for the freezer and would like to catch white perch and other fish in the same family. Thanks for any help

Welcome to the Louisiana forum of Crappie.com......I have fished out of the Pigeon area a few times and trust me, you do not want to go there without a GPS and a map....especially if you do not know the area....you can usually find the maps at any store like Academy, Cabellas, etc......never fished Cross bayou.....what kind of boat do you have.....I see Toledo Bend is your home lake but where do you live.....if you like, you can add your city to your location so folks can help you with info around where you live....
Again, welcome to the forum....
