    Same here. I think that is the elusive straw hooded coot. Rumor has it they are native to the basin. I hear they can be found sitting on tree tops tangling shiners in hopes of catching white perch.

    I think you meant "dangling shiners" but I have fished with Deacon before so it could well be "tangling shiners" lol
