There are a few launches, depending on what part of the lake you are wanting to fish.. If you are wanting to fish the deeper parts of the lake, I would recommend using the spillway launch. It is the best one. If you are wanting to fish the shallow end, there is a launch at Hopewell bridge. It isn't as nice. The one at Hopewell launches into bundick creek above the lake... There's not a lot of parking at Hopewell, but plenty at the spillway launch. As for bait, there are a couple places. One is Brewers, it's an old store about a mile and a half north of the spillway road. And there is Kipling corner just down the road from Hopewell bridge. Kipling probably has a better selection and they also have fuel.

You have to be half crazy and half stupid to try to ski in bundicks! There aren't as many "visible" stumps as there were a few years ago but there is alot of underwater structure! Let me and Johnny know when you are going to try and make a trip and we will try and go and show you what we know. The thing about bundicks is that it is HARD to fish when it is windy so try to pick a weekend when the winds are't blowing bad.

Ryan, we will be glad to show you what we know but we normally fish it during the colder months when the fish gather in the deeper channels. Jlaughlin has been going some as the temperatures have warmed up and doing fairly well. I tend to fish the marshes in the warmer weather b/c they are about an hour closer to my house.

If the weather holds out I will be back out there saturday. As of now, they are only calling for 10 percent chance of rain but the 6 mph wind may stop me from going. Hopefully as we get closer to the weekend, the wind prediction will go down.. It's not bad up to 4 or 5 mph, but once it gets over that, it's a real pain.
