Very good point FOL, don't rely on the GFCI breaker (if one is installed) to trip. And hopefully, a separate circuit is involved. If not, it won't be pleasant.
Many of you that have property on waterways do need to turn off power to these docks because the levels will continue to rise. Skip over on toledo Bend posted photos of his dock and Boathouse. those lights on his dock will go under water and the lights were still burning

Thanks, but my little dock is a floating dock so they will not go under. Thankfully with the gates open a record 22 feet the lake actually went down maybe 6" since yesterday evening.
However you right power should be turned off and I would too except I would have to wade to anything down there. Went to my boat last evening and I have to get knee deep to reach the boat shed.
