good trip...congrats.
Well, we tried it again Friday evening from 1-5 P.M. Lots of company, the WORD must have gotten out. 24 Trucks and Trailers at the Ramp when we got there and we was 3rd in line to launch. Boats, Boats, and more Boats. LOL!!! But, we went back to our little spot and caught a few, We kept 16 nice Crappie, threw back several small ones. Fish seemed to have moved out into deeper water. Oh well, they were there. We were landing them 2 at a time sometimes. Fishing 14-18 FOW @ about 12FD. Bayou Booger, Blue Storm, And Popsicle. Had a blast.
I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.

Cajun Dave "CRAPPIE GET ON MY LINE"
Cajun Dave, we were on the North end of the Lake. What we call the Mixing Hole, the Pot Hole, and the Stretch. Me and Momma have a certain curve we like to fish. We launch at Dickson's Landing at the end of B.J. Smith road, which is off Hwy.486 (Cooley Loop). We launch there to keep from having to run all the way from Hwy. 9 Ramp. Kennith Scallion (look him up on Facebook)has caught over 100 this week fishing the trees on the Channel above the Hwy.9 Bridge. Some were over 3 lbs.
