    Default Lacassine - Not yet.

Tried a late morning test and it was like I figured. A big buffalo and a small bass. Never caught a buffalo on a jig and it took some time. Water temp was 54 pretty much everywhere. I got a hair cut yesterday and today I sure felt the cold on my head. Was never really comfortable. Fished 10:00 to 1:30 and didn't see anyone else trying. It won't be long now. Spring starts for me Feb 15.

How did the water look? I might go there or BCD tomorrow. All black feather jigs usually do well for me early in the year there.

The water looked about as good as it will get for the time of year. I watched a couple of good Youtube videos that gave me ideas as to why I don't catch in the winter. Going to try some new stuff and will post if they work out. Later next week the weather man calls for some low 70's. That could get something moving.

When I first move down from Tennessee back in the early 70's I was young and tough. Now I'm old and wimpy.
