I try to use something most of the time. I don't know if it helps or not, but it can't hurt. More of a confidence thing.

As many fish as you catch I don't think you need them. Me, on the other hand, no more than I get to go, I need every advantage I can get. LOL. On the serious side; I do use them from time to time when the fish seem to be less active. When the fish are aggressive to bite they are not needed. Just my humble opinion.

I use the nibbles in the bait pump for crappie when using tube jigs and use the cht/garlic dip for dipping soft plastics in when bass fishing. Seems to help to me.

I use Megastrike original flavor now, used niblets for years with a bait pump.

I reapply once an hour to soft plastics, crappie seem to like it just as well.

i dont use them but as long as they are not taking away from action of the bait cant hurt. the one thing i do do in the winter in cold and especially cold and muddy water is keep a box of night crawlers on hand and break them into 1/4 inch or so peices to give a little smell etc which seems to help at tiems. again it cant hurt as others have said. think its more important in cold and or dirty water but im no expert in them as i dont use them in general other than nightcrawers on the jig at times

I used to use crappie nibblets, but got tired of drying them out before using and them coming off so easily. Now I use the gulp waxies. They work great and stay on the hook way better. Seem to work just as good for me.

I worked with a good friend and we came out with a jig trailer. The colors match the hair jigs we fish and they are scented in 2 different scents. And yes nibblets do also work.

Nibblets...I refuse to fish without them! But it looks like they are getting harder to find...anyone else having trouble?

Was using nibbles, now using the Bobby Garland Slab Jam. I like the jam much better. It dont wash off easy either.
