I don't wet a hook without the nibblets. Use pink in dirty water and chartreuse the rest of the time. They make me feel better anyway.
There are days that scents help wihout a doubt, today was one of them. Can usually catch all i want on just plastics but today they would come up and look then swim away. Frustrating to watch on the fishfinder. Added a bit of honey worm from Power Bait and they would commit.
I use spray on scent. I like Yum. It's been good. Just bought some Slab Slobber. It has an oil to it, probably Anise. I'm not having trouble getting fish to take the bait with it on the jig.
Mr. Rickey get with me about your nibblets. I can tell you where to get them and they are pretty cheap
Derek Picard :D
I don't think they do anything at all for Crappie. They do make bream even more of a bother though.
If JR and Andrews and RGG and DA and others who catch crappie regular used scent of any kind.......they work.......for the rest of us it don't matter....it all boils down to WHO is on the business end of that fishing pole.

I put the nibblets in the bags of my plastic baits, sometimes on the hooks. I read a article claiming the perch have a sense of smell like a dog. I know some people who wash there hands with scent killers, I usually have skeeter dope on my hands that may be the ticket.
