I have kept them for years not with perch but other species. I put dates were I fished water temps etc. everything that happened the day I caught fish. I like looking back and comparing.
Does anyone here keep a fishing log? In September I started keeping an online log on Fish Swami.

It seems like it could be useful after several months worth of reports are accumulated.

I had a friend who kept a log and it was very interesting to read but it was not organized like this site. Being it's free I can see where it could be of benefit or just plain good conversation when talking with buddies. I printed out a copy of the log templet and will give it a try on paper first before joining up.

Yes, but it's all in memory.
I've got Dad's logs from the 50's somewhere.

I wish that it showed moon phases and Solunar Table predictions on the log. Would like that to be searchable. It will show sunrise/set and moonrise/set, but only if you enter GPS coordinates for your fishing location.

Same here in both cases. My log is on my own site. Total control and it won't go away unless I quit paying the small costs. It costs me $72 per year for hosting and the name. I have a Drupal install, but WordPress is easier. Both free. Set it up like a blog so can't link to it here even though I'm the only user.
I do
I started this year......
I use a wall calendar with the 2"x2" squares. The color of the jig, water temp., depth, & number of crappie. I have 10 years of them, it helps to refresh your memory in the spring and early summer mostly.
