    me and brody got us some jig heads painted up. and thanks to skiptomylu for the advice about how to bake them to make them hard. check this out!!

    Looking good Doc. One of those should be good for one of the big fish pots. I have a hand tied one that is going to win the other pot. I can't disclose the color just yet. LOL.

    man, i don't mind at all. i was not baking mine hot enough, but i was baking them way too long. here is what he recommended.

    bake at 400 for 15 minutes (assuming you have pre-heated the oven and it is at 400 when you put them in). skip said, i think i remember correctly, that the lead head has to get to 393 to truly cure and harden the paint. but if it is too hot it will scorch the paint. he also recommended that i check what temp my oven is truly at when i set it at 400. he said lots of ovens are not calibrated exactly. so i did all that and they turned out awesome. only had one small drip and i think the only reason i had that is that brody got a jig head too hot and dipped it too thick when he was painting it. didn't have any "bullet headed" jigs after i baked them. that skip sure knows what he is talking about. hope this helps yall as much as it helped me.

    Dont forget to chip the eyes.
    One time I didnt clean em out and had to throw them all out.

    BTW, all you got is pink?
