Toledo Bend gathering the last weekend of February

i would say no to that Gene. It is a fun part of the event, but we need to keep it fun. No more controversies like a couple years ago. I have been to several state's events in the last couple years. Most weigh in by 3 some as early as 12 with a 7 fish stringer.One did 3 on friday 7 fish limit and 12 on saturday 1 big fish pot. We are the only state I've been to that waits so late to start cooking and I have heard several times at TB and D'arbonne(only went once) that we eat to late. It is a once a year event and Randy has adopted me to help, so he and I talked about this a lot. Trying to accommodate everyone is impossible, but we want to try it this way, this time.

I fully agree "D", but just wanted that clarified, as you said we want no controversy, as it is a for fun affair, as it should be. But you know how it is when money is involved, sometimes and to some people, it's all about the money. Looking forward to the weekend.

Randy, a friend and I will make our reservations tomorrow and head over there on Friday (26th). We have never meet any of the folks but sounds like a fun weekend making new friends.

A friend (Darrel Woodward) and I will be headed that way on Friday the 26th. We have never meet any of the folks but this sounds likea fun weekend to make some new friends. We will be making reservations tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I am having to cancels plans for this years trip. Hate having to do this, because I had such a great time last year and was really looking forward to this one. Cabin 5 has become available for anyone needing or wanting to change cabins. Catch ya'll on the next one if not sooner.

I've never made one of these gatherings and can't go again this year; it's the same weekend as the Crappie Masters tournament here on D'Arbonne. Maybe next year; my son lives less than an hour from there.
