This thread really begin with my reading Ed's thread "Please Help Me with the Home Page" where he was reminding everyone to participate more by way of more comments and involvement for the sake of those who take the time to put together articles and continually post very interesting thread topics to the forum. Some of these articles take little effort, but some take a tremendous amount of time and effort to bring to and/or share with the forum membership. I know for a fact that some of the articles that I have done have taken months to put together... not to mention one of the series articles that took nearly a year to do.

I too have noticed many of the threads (whether it's some of mine or many that others have posted) that might easily receive a thousand views and only a handful of comments (maybe 8 or 10). This sort of response stifles the whole idea and purpose of our community. We should all realize that the success of this forum or community rests in everyone's active sharing, involvement and spontaneity and not in just reading or lurking the various posts or reports and not taking the time to add your two cents worth (thoughts, opinion or contribution) to what is going on. After all: Isn't the whole purpose to share comments, knowledge, feedback and insights????
