    Default Toledo Bend was hot!!

Fishing was good, but temp was hot. Was 98 when we launched Sunday at 4:30 pm. Never cooled off for all 3 days. Fished Sunday pm 4 hrs, monday am5 hrs , took break to cut grass for me and neighbors, fished pm 3 hrs, and fished tues am 3 hrs. Caught a lot shallow in 88 degree water. Targeted mostly green fish and caught a bunch (50 or so). Did fish on one deep top and caught a few crappie. Ended up keeping 22 fish, 11 crappie, 11 bass. No pictures, gave them all to my friend who was with me. (of course I helped clean them) NOTE: Arkie chrome clown 350 crankbait is a great bass bait!!! All fish caught on plastic jigs , swim baits, worms and crankbaits.

Nice report Danny. Can't believe that water warmed up so quick.

Yes Danny, it's been hot as heck lately. Glad you at least caught a few. Usually this time of year the early morning is not terrible, but not many hours before it's time to come back in.
