Default Red River Sat and Sun

Went Sat and caught 11, all shallow (there was a bass tourney going on, and 10-12 boats in the oxbow where I normally see one or 2). Went back Sun and ended up with 5. The water had come up about 8-10 inches. Caught in 10 foot of water fishing 6ft deep. The one fish by itself was from Sunday and weighed exactly 2 lbs.

I did learn something. They were on the bank Sat and then Sun had moved into 10 ft water after the water rise.

I wonder if the current gets faster in either deeper or more shallow water when it rises, and the move to or away from it?? Great question though.

    Nice fish Skipper!!

Thats a nice mess! Ive been wanting to go back to the river for a while...Ive only fished in Caspiana a couple years ago and had a blast. Quality fish in those oxbows. Not only size - but meat quality too.

I was fishing an oxbow, so the current shouldn't have been an issue. Not sure though.
