Yeah I'm going to have to tie up a couple of dozen more of those jokers. This weekend I had several break offs due to what I think was gill feeding? Anyone else ever experienced thisSaturday 4 / 4

The Crappies have been on the rampage here at Caddo lake for the last week or so. The freezer is almost full and the neighbors are starting to hate to see me walk to the door. Lols Not a lot of the big Slabs yet but some good ones for sure. Around the trees with any thing that has Chartreuse in it. I have been using a Jungle Jim's Duck jig with Gadwall and Flo. Green Mallard Duck Flank. 1/64 oz. in a hook size 6. Neighbor kid took a limit on on Blue and Chartreuse jig 1/8 oz. jig with a # 2 hook. Just make sure that you have something that has Chartreuse. Have fun it won't last all that long.

What do you call gill feeding? I was fishing a shiner under cork around grass about ten inches deep yesterday when I see my cork layover and move to the side then I see the fish swirl on top of the water and out comes the shiner. Looked like he just moved it off his bed, never did catch him.
