    Hit the rice field about 10am. Fish on from the start. Then bam, broke steering cable on the foot motor. Got the paddle out but tired of that pretty quick.Name:  3-16-15 002.jpg

    Wow stories like this really add to my doubts over my motorized thing. Having some grief over the trolling motor and only made one trip. Probably going to upgrade it. The kayak is so simple. Hope you get it all good soon.

    give it some time. You'll get the hang of it. If not I could always use a backup.

    I replaced the cable with a use one. I'm good to go.

    JR, you tell the Mrs. that all that stuff ain't junk but very valuable stock. Most everyone has such a collection of stuff just like most women have a collection of shoes.

    I figured your other post was a tease before an upcoming event. You did not disappoint. Nice looking catch even thou you got them full of pine needles and ants.
