There's someone up there because that is where the place I buy em said they get them from. When I go back I can ask but it will be a while.

Thanks

I'm in WM and not that I am aware of, Anderson's in Farmerville sells them by the pound. Other than them everyone else is per ea. Yeah I'm old enough to remember the days of $.01 shiners......
Citgo in Mangham sales by pound and Jay in Archibald (318) 805-7266 sales from his house on Carey Smith road. $10.00#. I buy from Brown's Landing at Caney when they have them. 10 cents ea.
When In Honey Hole The owner told me all the Bait shops in the area has gone to counting per minnow sold. he did sell me a half pound because I bought a minnow bucket and a dozen packs of Jigs
Per minnow? That's outrageous, I'd be raising my own down here if that happens. I have never seen a place that individually counts the shiners.

I'm near West Monroe and I buy them like that all the time. Usually get about twice as many as I pay for. Did go to one place that the lady counted every one, didn't go back there.
You can buy them by the pound in a Chevron store about 3 miles north of Ruston on HWY 33. Plus, you can get different sizes. I believe the name of the store is Cramers, but not sure. FishOnLine knows the store. He might give you better info.
