    Default Henderson OK Days!

Fished Sunday and Monday in Henderson after fishing Saturday and watching SWAMPPERS catch all the fish in Lake Martin. Pretty much stayed around I-10 after exploring farther North. All I could find were those annoying bass, pretty much caught one on every cast near a tree! Did manage to land 6 and keep 3 on Sunday then landed 8 and kept 2 today. The wind was brutal today so I only fished till noon today. At any rate, I caught these all by myself, guess I can catch fish after all! BTW caught all of them on black/chartreuse hair jig with an orange 1/16 head at about 8-10 feet.

And then the annoying toss back fish pretty much anybody can catch right now!!

I referred to the bass as toss back because I just really prefer the taste of sacaulait but for some reason nearly every tree I tossed my jig by up to the north there seemed to be a small bass sitting by it. I guess the bass are starting their spawn before the sacaulait?? They were really aggressive.

I had fun Saturday and Sunday with the bass also.....they were very aggressive....wife and I are back and forth on which one we like the best....right now she likes the bass the best.....between the two, my favorite is which ever one is biting....I have heard the bass spawn before the sacs....
