    Default That time of year

Well its about that time of year that I lay the guns down and pick up the poles... looking forward to getting back out on the water. Ive been trying to keep up on here, but whats Henderson look like after the draw down? Still lots of mats?

they still have some......are they a problem?....depends which way the wind is blowing......I've seen the public launch clogged up one Monday morning and cleared out by Wednesday morning...water went up over 13 ft. and then went on a fast fall but is rising now.....

Give Henderson another week or two with no gully washers and it'll start getting good IMO...

Good thing hunting season doesnt run any longer than it does... I dont think my lady would stick around hahaha.

At least shes somewhat interested in fishing, so I have that going for me. Looking forward to visiting the site more often and looking at all you guys reports. I plan on going back to Cow Island sometime when the water level looks good... went there and caight the biggest bream of my life then got poured on from above.

Speaking of Cow Island, thats a hard place to navigate with all the grass in there..
