    Default D'Arbonne Lockjaw

About a Dozen Boats fished the area of the highway 33 bridge , at jakes. The dinks even had Lockjaw!!! The most of the Bites came from Bar Fish. We had almost a Inch of rain three days before but the conditions was perfect, Cloudy, Winds calm from south to West. Barrometer down, Water temp at 48 degrees. I did Catch a Goo pushing 4 Lbs that was lots of fun and one small Barfish. Does the dark of the Moon at the New Moon give the Finned Critters Lock Jaw????

I Know what you are saying !!! when I look at the best times and days, Fish on the Bone seem to Bite exactly the Opposiant of the Solar Calendar. The Crappie dont have to do much, Just open their mouth and the Shad will push something in their Mouth to eat

I agree Larry, I had the worst day ever on Dbone , 1(ONE) thump and 1(ONE) fish, I fished 0730-1630. I fished everywhere from North of the State Park all the way down to the Fork then on down to Jakes then back to Hwy 2 bridge. Bad day, but it was better than working!

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
