Don't forget Frenchman's Wilderness Campground, 5 minutes from public launch(ButteLaRose).....cabins too

Frenchman's Wilderness is a very nice campground. I personally kept my camper there for 8 months. Plenty trees so there is lots of shade. Also not as crammed as others in the area with several campsites having cement pads to park your camper next to. They have 30 and 50 amp spots with sewer at each pad. Howdy Hi there Friend's & Neighbors, I was just snooping around in Y'alls forum and ran across The henderson gathering, and was just wondering if out of state crappie.com member are invited? I've been out of pocket for so long and I'm trying to get to know some folks to go fishing with. I have references I was the back seat fisher with Ken "4thethump" Rayls on lake Ross Barnett in Jackson Ms. For the past two years & we fished with jig's only but I can adapt to any style of fishing. Family moved to the Gulf Coast and I ended up in Picayune,Nice folk's and all but I find myself on my own again. and Fishing by yourself is illegal in most States..I read that some where I'm sure!!! any ways keep us all posted as things develop.Thank's a bunch and as alway Y'all have a crappieday Ya here. crappiedan

Hi neighbor....absolutely you are invited....we already have 6 Mississippi folks coming to our get together at Toledo Bend on Feb. 27, 28 (see sticky at top of page)....you are welcome at that one also.....I am originally from Jackson, Miss but been here for a long time......I met "4Thethump" (and many others) at the Mississippi get together at Grenada this year.....great group of guys...hope you can make both events.....we will be finalizing all the details later.....

Watching this post and very excited..great job guys and much needed. I hope I can attend this event, waiting on my schedule to line out and if this date is open I hope to join the group! I wont commit to anything yet until I know, but if possible I can in some fashion I will be in full support.

Crappie Dan --- If Fishing alone was against the Law here we would all be in trouble. Safety in numbers is a good Idea but not the rule.

I am retired and live in my camper at Frenchman's Wilderness RV Park.. It's a nice place to be at. Whether you are staying for 1 night or permanent..lol

I fish Henderson a lot and I am sure I have seen that hat several times.....you be sure to be there March 28......
