    Hello everyone! I'm another lucky guy that's had the privilege of growing up here in sportsman's paradise. I moved to Mooringsport a couple years ago on Caddo lake, so that's where I do most my fishing. Any of you guys having as much trouble with this giant salvinia as I am?

    welcome from north bossier city. don't fish much on caddo, except for johnson's ranch when they stack up in there. hope to meet ya on the water sometime!!

    WELCOME I fish Caddo Lake a lot also .I have been having trouble with this giant salvania for the last few years depending on which way the wind is blowing or the current is going it can make some of your prime fishing spots impossible to fish. hopefully we will have a colder than average winter again this year and knock it back drastically

    I sure hope so. This is what it was like for me last year...Thankful its not as bad now but it comes and goes.

    I haven't been to Caddo in a quite a while. Didn't realize the green goop was so bad right now. Hoping for some freezing weather for many of our lakes...

    Welcome..sorry to hear about the slavinia...Im on Bistineau and we been fighting it for years. As much as I hate cold weather..I wish it would freeze that crap out of there this winter.
