    Well lately i have noticed several of the "regulars" have stopped posting on CDC and I wasn't gonna mention anything figured it was hunting season or lack of water or whatever but there are a few new screen names i have been noticing and a few of them i have had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with and sharing some info with even though it may or may not have been helpful and i realize how much i enjoy that!! almost as much as posting pictures of fish!! I have met a few CDC members in the past here and there and this has all made me realize what a great bunch of guys and ladies we have on this site and how rewarding it is to just help out a fellow fisherman and hopefully get them to put a few in there box as well. Lately ChuckLandry and fishingfool and myself have been teaming up and trying to put our heads together and get on a few and it has been working pretty good and I have really enjoyed

    so in short thanks yall!!!

    Good post Swamppers.....this is a great forum and the best thing that makes it so good is the respect members show one another......there are no required expectations of anyone to post reports, pictures, give information or whatever.....as long as we remember this, we will not be disappointed when others do not conform to his own personal expectations.....

    So, thanks to you Swamppers for all you add and help to make this forum so good.....we have many like you that love to help others......glad to see you enjoying yourself......

    I will say this about crappie.com, I recently got back into fishing after a nearly 20 year break to raise a family (which caused me to work...a lot). Going into Henderson was intimidating to say the least and I had absolutely no clue. I met Ryan (Fishinfool1998) at the landing at Bayou Amy one day and instantly made a friend. He told me about crappie.com so I registered. Now I wish I had come up with a cool screen name like everyone else but I didn't realize that the user name was going to be my screen name but looks like I can't change that. At any rate, I began seeing local guys posting and one in particular appeared to be very knowledgeable about not only sac-au-lait fishing but on Henderson in general. Now Jason (Swampers), Fishinfool 1998, and I have fished together a couple times and regularly communicate by cell.
    So long story short, I can certainly attribute fishing, and sac-au-lait fishing in particular along with crappie.com for the development of new friendships. Swampers told me something one day while fishing that has certainly stuck with me and I agree wholeheartedly. He told me that he has no problem sharing information because there is no way one person can catch them all. That is such a true statement. I think if we share info, respect each others sweet spots and respect each other in general - we all catch fish (sometimes) and we all win. I am always open to new friendships and definitely open to a Henderson gathering. Let's make it happen!
