    Default Cranking Saturday


    My son and I got a late start today water temperature was 64. 6 degrees Orange Crush mad cow and baby bass produced best not many boats out today I guess everyones deer hunting we're going to try again in the morning

    Next time you go out could you take a pic of how you have them rigged on the line as well as how you have the roadrunners rigged. Thinking may have to try your way of fishing as tight lining for them is not working for me right now. Thanks and good catch.

    The crank baits and the Roadrunners I pull behind the boat I run 10 pound test and a snap swivel.With the crankbaits ...I'm running them 45 to a 125 feet out the back of the boat at 1. 3 to 2.0 mph. With the Roadrunners I'm just making a good long cast and running at .8 to 1 mile an hour with a 1/16 or 1/8 head .The rods that I push the crankbaits and Roadrunners on I use 3oz. Scott V weights 3-foot leader and a swivel. I also push the A-rig on the front poles too
