    Default 1/4 oz jighead

Been using bigger jigheads than normal and really like the feel you get with them. Even more so when the wind is kicking. My problem is all I can find in 1/4 oz is number 1 or 1/0 hooks. While they do catch fish well they also catch cover easily. Anyone know where I can find some jigheads with number 2 or 4 size hooks?

Give him a call, bet he can hook you up. If not try bobo grey beard he could probably pour you some.

That's a lot of weight for a sac jig. IMO I went to a 1/32 oz jig to get the better bite Saturday. You could always go to a lighter line for better feel or add a slit shot. HTH

I used to say the same thing till I used the heavier head. I think the heavy head falling fast makes them react to to fast. I fish a little differant than most sacalait fisherman. I use 2.5" tube jigs usually.

Yeah I really thought that was a pain myself.
I ordered enough to last me for a good long time when I purchased.

I use to think the same thing too until I watched JLauglhlin out fish me with them. I haven't used any that heavy yet but I do like the 1/8 oz for the same reason he stated.
