Size: 66.3 KBTook my dad fishing for the first time in well over 20 years ..Uncle Sam had me gone for all that time and we never had a chance to go. Retired and moved back home and finally got him in the boat. Had a great time. Caught about a dozen. Was expecting a little slow due to the weather that moved through but we couldn't have asked for a prettier day to be on the water.

nothing like repaying our dads for all the times they took us fishing. last time I took my dad (which has been waaaaaaayyyy too long) he got tangled up and I looked at him and said "like taking a dang kid!!". we had a blast but we need to do it again soon before it gets too cold. thanks for reminding me that I need to get my dad in the boat. good job today!!

Doc that same scenario played out many times today..... He's not necessarily known for his patience but for once he actually let me help him out a few times today. Not too much cussin and none of my rods ended up in the water. I think we did real good.

Very well done Progator, I use to love taking my Dad fishing. He wasn't good at finding fish but if I put him on them, man he was like a kid. Thanks for reminding me of the memories.

I try to take my dad whenever I can and YES he does try my patience at times but I think about all of you that can't take your dads anymore and I also think about the MANY, MANY times that I tried my dad's patience and think, man I am lucky to still be able to bring my dad! Thanks for the pictures and memories.
