    Default Henderson 8/15

Decided to go after the bass . 7 bass 2 goos. After pulling a 6wk hitch offshore ...my hook setting skills are rusty! Missed several.

Got pics but can't figure out how to upload them from my phone.

Lafourche bayou I think. Lol. Forgive me I still haven't memorized all the area names.

I was in the bayou north north Bigeoux . Water is stained, but there is current.... And the bass are there. Texas rigged yum dingers around isolated wood in 7-8ft of water.

Like that stump dead center in the channel as you are turning into it at the very north point of Bejeaux. There use to be a cane pole marking that monster. It has no mark now. I hit it last year.
I was in Henderson yesterday, 15th, trying to learn the craft of fishing Sac-A-Lait. Got three, dropped the fourth one at the boat, but I'm learning.
Camo, did you launch at the interstate in a Camo boat with a Yamaha tiller on the back. If so, I was launching at the same time in a G3 with a 90 yamaha.

Hit a stump well I continued on to fourdouche lake and managed to hit 3 more on the way up there!!!! Hey I live there and go up that way a good bit and still hit'em!!! a bass boat passed me doing.... god knows how fast and went into a turn tight and didnt hit any???? IDK??? He's just lucky I guess?? But I did go all the way to Fourdoche lake and it was muddy i fished it for about 15/20 minutes 2 small ones so i left and went fish a different spot and got away from them stumps!!!!

    Thanks for the report.....

Well, all you guys must have passed me.....I was in Bayou Fordoche till about 9 AM in my Triton Fish & ski......while riding up there, when I got to the S curve leaving the lake & entering the bayou. that guy in the bass boat came out of there going south throwing water 15 ft in the air.....must have been doing 60 MPH at least.....

I have hit it also....now, when going north, I head for the left point close to that visible stump and then head straight for the point on the right side.....going north, while in the S curve, the left side in the curve is shallow.....
