I had the good fortune to spend 3 days on that little lake.

Some guys came by Dock Shooting, and had some small Bass.
There aint no pleasing a guy who's Bass fishing and only catch's Perch or Crappie.
    Very quiet lake to fish.

The Dock owner 'feeds' Catfish feed every evening.

Fishing from the Dock, I Caught one Red-ear, one Striper (about 3" long) and a big Turtle.

So I filleted the Striper and used it to catch some more. But in the end I didn't catch anything big enough to eat and no Bass at all.

It was nice to have that place all to myself though.
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D

I was just over in your part of the country. I have a friend in Oakman and one on the Black Warrior River. Mulberry fork. Caught a few fish at a private lake out of Oakman.

We had the Family Feed the last night.
34 people ate 200 fish and some Shrimp.
It's no wonder people stay down in the Swamp land all their lives.
Philosophically speaking: America is a wonderful place. We can eat whatever is around us. Enjoy the fruits of our sporting lives.
I'll stay down here with these folks.!
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D
