Default Beat down by TB wind

Only caught a couple white perch on road runners. Caught about 50 bass. Kept 2 white perch and 19 bass. Wind for 2 and a half days was brutal. Really surprised we did as well as this. Caught a big cat on a lizard. Name: big cat.jpg

Nice job Danny, at least you caught something to make it fun. Looks like you stayed in the San Miguel area to get out of the wind. You didn't try up shallow for the crappie where I caught them last week? Looks like you'll be toting home a few bags of fillets at least. We'll see you next month, thanks for posting.

Tried crappie fishing. No shiners. Might have caught some on shiners. I always have a line rigged with a jig or road runner and try it at every stop. But I did more bass fishing this time. Randy, I wish I could have found some place out of the wind. I rode that troll motor all day, each day. Hard fishing!!

It looks like y'all had a great time. Its been killing me to be stuck at work for 2 weeks, I am ready to get back out there. I will spend most of my next 2 weeks off up there, hopefully they are still biting.
