fantastic and happy for the both of you...ya'll deserve it....
Anyone who has come to either the D'arbonne, Larto, Cypress, or Toledo Bend gathering in the last few years have met Linda. She is PawPaw's wife and constant sidekick and has been my fishing partner for the last 42 years. I'd say that 95 percent of my trips are with her and I couldn't ask for a better partner. And she does catch fish. Well now and then she'll catch a turtle, goo, red fish and the good Lord knows what else but she can catch crappie and keep it interesting.
It has been seven months since she's been in the boat because of the bad knee and the surgery on it. We were going to give it a try this morning but she woke up with her leg hurting. After lunch she was feeling better and off we went. I'm proud to say she caught the first slab about 5 seconds before I caught mine and it will be a while before she will let me forget. lol. Anyway it was great to have her back in the boat and the afternoon was perfect. The wind was light and we only saw one other boat. We even caught enough fish for a couple of meals. The fish were scattered and we caught them on mini assassins, I had a blue and white one and she had a gray and white one.
Here is a picture of her and her first fish of the day and the first in seven months. I'm so happy for her.
And the rest of them.

That's great PPG. I do like her the hat.
Her smile says it all. Congratz, and many more happy days on the water.
Wishing you Blue Skies and Tight Lines
It's good to see you back out on the water Linda and fish in the sink. Nice day on the water as well. Thanks for the post Gene.

Hey Gene and Linda:
Glad to see you guys back in the boat.
BTW I can tell that Ms. Linda's fish is by far the biggest of the bunch you guys caught. Now get back out there and do it again!!!!
:D Bought too cheap and kept too long!!!!:D
:D WALLY:D
Good morning folks. Thanks for all the welcomes and comments. The Lord was very good yesterday. The wharf was just right so I could get in the boat and for the first time in our fishing history there weren't any boats in the Intercoastal going or coming back. I really thank God for my wonderful day. See you all in a couple of weeks.
Linda Collins
Welcome to you Mrs Linda!
Hope to see both of you at the TB gathering.
