I've looked at a lot of places from Hattiesburg Mississippi to Erwinville and Cabela's has the most varied assortment of jigging poles that I've seen. If you go there you could stop by Mr. JB Salters place on the way just to make a comparison, but go early in the morning and don't plan on being home until late that night. He will tell you about everything from Aardvarks to Zyzzyvas, and you can look that up. I've gone there twice with the intentions of going home with two poles and have left without. He's a great old guy anyway though. The poles are great but I would make a comparison before I bought. Cabela's have some good ones also. You can email B & M and they will send you a catalog of the poles they sell. I am about convinced to buy a couple of their IM7s.

I have the Rainshadow IP 902 RX7 and now want the RX8 next. Everyone that I have told about this rod and got one just loves it. The site for the Mfg. has changed so that it's a lot harder to find and there is no direct link to this rod, but here is the site and just look for the Rainshadow IP902 that is 7'6". It's on page 12 of this catalog and don't look at the page numbers below the catalog, look at the page number that is actually on the catalog.

Here is their phone number and I think the blanks are right around $100 ( I am unsure of the blank cost to a rod builder), but they changed their site and that is why it's not easy friendly, but they are working on it. The lost the one that were taking care of it so this is what they have right now.
It's listed as inshore popping and you have to look in their 2011 Full Product catalog and the pages at the bottom don't match the top or the actual catalog so you have to kind of look for page 12. I don't know if they have gone up since I got mine made, but I paid the guy $125 for mine a few years ago.

Thanks Professor. I don't know why I forget that Cabelas & Bass Pro have a brick and mortar presence here now. That would actually be a worth wild trip. Between the two of them I'm sure I could find something I like.
