    Default Fishing line ?

Ok guys I am looking for some hard facts on a question rattling in my head. Is this hi vis Mr. Crappie fishing line any good? I keep hearing about people using it and for some it works but im seeing allot of negatives like it breaks and frays really easy? I normally spool my reels with 4 - 6 lb Trilene Sensative But for some reason its gotten hard to find at wally world . So I need a good alternative thanks for the input.

I've used 4lb Mr Crappie Super hi-vis (made in USA version) and it worked well. The latest version (made in Taiwan) has had some negative press, even here on the site. I can't vouch for that, as I've switched over to 6lb Vicious Panfish hi-vis line. The jury is still out on it, but it does seem to be decent line. I have no complaints on it, yet.

Do they sell Vicious at Academy or Wal mart ? I plan on shopping in the morning when I get off work. Gotta get all my rods ready for this fall/winter fish grind lol.

I like the offshore angler hi viz mono from Bass Pro. It is limp and cheap, and comes on a large spool so that I always have plenty. I noticed it was in the saltwater section when I went to the Denham Bass Pro this week. Check it out, it may be an option for you if you have a BPS close by.

What's wrong with Stren HI-Vis ? Just wondering that's all, I'm just trying to read and learn that's all. That used to be a popular brand.

I can't find Hi Vis Stren in my area. Walmart use to carry it, but not now. The Bass Pro store here does not carry it. When I get ready for some guess I will have to order online.
