went this morning with my FIL. started ouit very slow. I was afraid we wouldn't catch 5. but things kinda turned on around 9. ended up with 26. had some really nice ones mixed in too.
all were caught on jigs on the edge of the channel. chek out this pic.

great job Doc you got some purty perch right there and I know you enjoyed your time with FIL but did you ever question that they might get through that DOC WALDO CRAPPIE SEIN? I've seen shrimp trawlers that couldn't cover as much water as you do.keep up the good work posting and especially fish pics greatly appreciated ~~<*{{{{<<

the water was 68.2 at daylight and when we left a little after noon it was around 73. so yes, it is cooling off a tad.Originally Posted by Tracker123

yep. we only caught about 6-7 whites. not sure if it was b/c we were fishing with jigs instead of shiners??????????
