Congrats on a fine catch - much better than the two reds that broke in my new Igloo yesterday!

You could ride down the gravel levee road south out of Ramah. It would be ruff on your boat and trailer. You could go I10 to LA 1 south at Port Allen.

Plenty of water to fish on the east side. I'd take a map and or a Gps. I still get turned around after 40 years of running around there.

Best way IMO is to go with someone who know their way.

I go I10 to maringouin exit...cross the bridge at the end of the exit...turn right...next right turn AFTER RR tracks and cross bridge...turn left...next left cross bridge and go 1 mile and turn right across bridge...turn left...first right is stassis rd..turn right....go to end turn right....go to stop sign turn left....go long way and cross 2nd bridge(pigeon)..on the right...turn right after bridge.....2 miles?? or so cross levee after paved turns to gravel on left...don't catch all the fish Use google maps and pin it...what I did...
