D'arbonne Gathering Food List
Hey fellow CDC members! Going to go ahead and start this thread, as it seems there's some interest already. I'm pretty excited myself!
For anyone that's never been to a gathering at D'arbonne, we typically all get together for a pot luck on Friday night, and a big fish fry on Saturday night. Pot luck has worked well for the past several years, and everyone just brings a dish of their choice they'd like to share, but there's no pressure to bring something just to come enjoy and have a good time...Also, if you can't or don't want to cook, there's a need for utensils, condiments, drinks, plates, etc. if you'd like to contribute. Saturday night everyone just chips in some of their catch for the fish fry and the rest of the items are potluck that compliment a fish fry....sure you all get the picture.
Anyway, if you know something you'd like to bring, just let me know here or through a PM, and I'll keep track of the list so we don't end up with everyone bringing the same thing. Might also be a good idea to list how many people will be coming with you so we'll all have an idea of the size of the crowd. The more the merrier!

Let me be the first to list! I will supply Plates, Cups, spoons and forks! Also, my wife makes this great peanut butter candy, I will sweet talk her into making some. For the pot luck I will try to bring some dish maybe Fried Deer Steak or whatever else I can drum up and big jug of Sweet tea!
Were are going to have a busy weekend but it should be Myself and my Wife and our 2 kids.

I will bring my butt bites for Friday night. on Saturday night I will wait to see what we will need. I will also bring some drinks for both nights, like sweet tea and soft drinks.

I've made my RV reservatioins so I am ready to go Looking forward to it.
I will bring a brisket and baked beans for Friday Night pot luck and will bring the two burner stove and pots to fry hushpuppies or what ever needs to be cooked Sat night. I will also bring a 30 cup coffee pot, coffee, sugar, creamer and coffee cups to put in the gathering place for both evening.

I will also bring trash bags, paper towels. I've got a bunch of the blue towels I can bring too. they are good to use and then throw away. I've also got a few of the large aluminum trays that have been used at about three or four gatherings already. i'll bring nametags and sharpies too. i'm sure I will think of other stuff to bring later.

I will bring shrimp and corn soup with the crackers and bowls and a pack of spoons for Friday night. I want in on the big fish both nights and any thing else I can do just ask. The over the hill gang will be there again.
