Tree Frog, those are excellent mods you have done to your boat.

Sawdustsavage, pontoon boats are very popular on Toledo Bend. Where are you from in Oregon? You may be our furthest visitor on the Louisiana sight. And yes, post your picture!

    Default G-3

Here's my little 16 ft G-3 CC. Bought second hand and its probably one of the best purchases I have made. I love this little boat it's very versatile. From running noodles to chasing reds in the louisiana marsh, it will do it all.

I generally have two ice chest in the boat, one for fish and one for food and drinks. We move around till we get on a bite then we can put the ice chest on the decks and sit on those. Still then, I only really like to sit when Im reeling a road runner or something like that so I can watch my line and rod tip. But to answer your question 20watt, yes, boat seats get in my way. LOL!

TreeFrog, I had one center console boat in the past. I'm on #13 now. I believe I posted earlier on this thread. I have 2 negative things to say about why I did not like it. 1. Less places to put stuff. I like a rod box. 2. I broke 2 rods hitting the center console while casting. Now some people really like them, they are just not for me. I also don't like the anchor poles on the back of some boats. They are also good at getting in the way of a rod. Plus I fish in deep water a lot. Anyway , just my point of view. Good luck in your boat hunt and remember to post the mods you make to it. Danny
