Kerns in Henderson. It's kayak friendly.
I'm looking to make a trip into Henderson in my kayak sometime early next week. Anyone know a good launch for a kayak?

Don't know for kayaks.
$2 for yaks
McGee's is nice, but it's $5. I-10 under the bridge is free, but noisy.
On a week day it doesn't matter as much, but if it was up to me I would send you to McGee's. Fish have been reported being caught near to their lately and it's easy launching for us kayak folks. On a week day they open at 8:00 I think, but you can pay on the way out. That's where I launched the last 2 times I was there. Pay in the restaurant when you leave. Good luck.
I read on another forum there's a large group of Miss kayakers launching at McGees tomorrow about 10am. Just a heads up, good, bad, whatever.... Everybody stay safe!
McGee's is good as someone said. The landing before McGee's is the Atchafalaya Basin landing where I go. Super nice folks there as well, their old lab (Bo) that was always there died recently . Also home of the "world famous Turtle's Bar". Not that I would know anything about that . If money is an issue, you can launch right off the bank next to the pontoon bridge. The grass is cut close all the way to the water. Folks bank fish there.
