Looks good, where from? I got the yellow scale that was discussed earlier. Nice and compact. Now need something to weigh. I'm sure there's a clipper in my future.

That is interesting. Wondering how well it works with braid. I bought some special small scissors for cutting braid, but doesn't work that well.

It cuts through braid perfectly. I've cut up to 50 lb. test so far. It's my new favorite tool. My husband really likes it too.

On order. Got the green one. Just started trying some braid. Hope this helps. The loop knot that JR taught us to tie works.

You're welcome. Ya'll will really like those snips. They're impressive. Somehow, they seem to gravitate to my husband's side of the boat

I see you live in Carencro. I grew up there I miss fishing that "side" of the basin, especially Grevenberg and Beau Bayou.

Thanks. Mine is on order. MrsBuck8Point, I live roughly 8 miles from Carencro proper east off Hwy 1252 (old Hwy 726 - they changed the number about 8 years ago). Out in the country, property is on the Vermillion river on the Teche Ridge. The remains of the Saint Catherine Drexel school house (for people of color they say) is along my driveway that I built 20+ years ago. I used some of the bricks to build Ann some flower beds around some of the trees we have - I had no idea where they were from at the time. My neighbor (Dr. Ed Dugal, retired professor) who has a small farm next to me told me about the story about Saint Catherine's school house recently and was wondering where it was. I told him I know, and showed him the old cement steps back in the woods. He has now cleared around those steps and is currently writing a journal article about. I apologized for removing the bricks, because I didn't know. He said it was okay. I don't know why I posted this, sorry guys.
