Thread: Introducing the Louisiana Crappie.Com golden shiner award

Be the envy of your friends and neighbors. An excellent addition for your home or office. I made this today for fun. The Louisiana Crappie.com golden shiner award. To be awarded to the biggest crappie caught in a six month period. Rules are as follows:

1. Must be caught in Louisiana or shared waters (Toledo Bend, Caddo, etc.).
2. You must be a member of Crappie.com and have at least 50 posts.
3. You must agree to send this prestigious award to the next winner after the six month period.
4. The six month periods are from Jan 1 to Jun 30,and from Jul 1 to Dec 31.
5. Previous posts are allowed after Jan 1 in this time frame until Jun 30.
6. The picture must include the crappie and you submitted to this thread.
I’ll be sending the award out for the first time after June 31^st. Good luck everyone and happy fishing.

Haha, sounds fun, we need something to liven things up around here.. Let's get something straight though, when you say biggest do you mean weight wise or length?
