Shinerz, jigs...cork, or tight line. Single pole, spider rig, etc. I like it all.

My favorite thing is catching em. Followed close by eating them. Bringing up a close third is picking at folks on CDC.

Really enjoyed the time with you two! I took my wife this morning, but didnt go until 8 because looked like rain was on the way, but by 8 we knew it was dying off before it really got here. We got 21 on 1/32 oz roadrunners and pretty shallow water still. Nothing was deeper than 10', but I also know some have gone deep to their summer patterns. However I also know there are a good many still shallow and some very shallow. Had a guy bass fishin come across near where we were fishing and yes he ask if we minded him cutting through a shallow part. He also said as crossing that shallow place could see crappie all over the place.

Again I really enjoyed y'all coming over to fish and need to come back!

Skip, we will - count on it my friend. I plan on coming again mid summer. Really enjoyed that 6 mile area where you are at. We had never been there. The drive over and back was nice as well (I got to pull Danny's boat in my truck - in Texas! ). Guys, Skip has a serious tying operation at his house, first class for sure.

Believe it or not, I brought my cricket basket on Saturday. Danny did tie on a cricket hook, attached a cork (both his own on his own rod), and watched it go under more than once. I was going to take a picture, but didn't want to embarrass him . Only two crickets escaped in his boat. We had fun all around, and that's what counts to me.

    Have you ever fished there?
I have fished there on the state artificial reefs on pylons 2-12 when the water is calm, and the boat traffic is a minimum. That's the only place where a caught two at a time on a double drop shot rig.
