    You did better than I did. Fished Forks Ferry & Pelican bay with shiners and jigs. All we caught was 1 barfish. There were quite a few folks under the spillway and I did talk to one old timer and he said they had a slow bite but did decent (no numbers).

    I went and looked below the spillway about mid week. Man that thing was so much higher than it was a few weeks ago and so much water coming over I just never considered it. I just put new pole holders in the back of my boat so I really wanted to. Just couldn't resist the shallow bite

    Freebird, you do get off cheap with 5 dead shinners!!!! I have 29 Freerange chickens, I have the whole flock head me off at the pass, several want to be petted like the weenie dogs in the house. To get to the mailbox , I Have to make loop d loops around buildings and hide to make a run for it. if you get 30 mallards Game -N-Fish might be watching.

    Nice catch! good to see they are getting shallow. I've been in Montana for a week catching rainbows and browns, but ready to get a good crappie fish fry going!

    nice mess FB.....sounds like a fun day......love the duck.....one place I fish I have to throw shiners on the dock to a cat......if I didn't I think he would swim out to the boat....Happy Birthday and many more.....

    You're right about turning 54; you only do it once and that's only if you're blessed.
