    Default Rock pile


    Is anyone familiar with a fishing hole called the rock pile . It's some where north of Lake Providence . Wondering how to get to it and is it in Ar or La? Thanks...

    It's in LA. Heading north from lake providence on hw 65 you'll make a right at the Panola Pepper plantation sign, go to the end of the road, turn left and go about a mile and turn right onto the first gravel road you come to, this will carry you across the levee, follow this road for about another mile and the ramp will be on your left.

    If the parking lot, if you want to call it that, is full please do not park in the farmers field and don't go into Doe Lake, you will be ticketed.

    So the rock pile is a pit dug out by the COE for the levee correct? So is Doe Lake right.

    Pretty sure rock ile is an oxbow lake like Yucatan Lake. You can get into the MS River when the water is high enough. Doe Lake is private I believe.
