    Default Bundicks 2-9-13


    Well Pete, Laikyn and myself decided to give it a shot today at Bundicks. Thought about going to Calcasieu but after the rain the other day decided to go to old faithful! Well we fished from 7:30 to 2:40 and managed to catch 18. Started off real good with 4 in the first 30 minutes and then it slowed down some. We were fishing in 14 to 20 fow fishing 12 to 16 feet deep. Best color for me was red/chrt (again). I would like to thank Lynden for showing me what he caught his 2 lber on at toledo! I bought some in blk/chrt and red/chrt and the red/cht paid off! We had 5 fish that went over 1 1/2 lb! with Sneakypete catching the big on at 1:12. We had 1 at 1:7, 1 at 1:8, 2 at 1:10 and 1 at 1:12.

    All in all a great time with family and friends! The fish were just the bonus! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

    Those are some nice fish and pictures! Glad you all had a good time and brought some home. I went to Cypress this morning, but the bite was REALLY slow. only brought home a few, then cleaned them and gave them to an elderly neighbor. She loves fresh fish!

    Yeah they are, and yeah she is, but what about ol Sneakypete? He's in there too!
    Oh, I guess "cute" ain't in my program anymore.
    Whatever, it was a fine day, thanks to them, Bundicks Lake, the sacs, and the Good Lord.
    And I won't say a word - NOT A WORD! - about who caught the smallest one, but he was in the front of the boat!

    Hey Pete, I had to get them small ones out of the way in the front so yall could catch the bigger ones in the back! (Had to do the same thing for Johnny!) But I want say a thing about who caught the most!
    Got mine in the grease as I am typing this!!!

    Dwyane, Congrats to the three of you on the catch... looks like yall had a good day on the water.. And I can vouch for Dwyane, he is really a good sport and considerate boat operator. You can't find to many that will try and make sure he has all the little ones out the way so that his passengers can catch some good fish in the back of the boat...lol
