I spoke with Skip (skiptomylu). He and his wife will be coming over Friday evening for a couple of hours to visit. He says he will bring some of his excellent ties for us as well. Thanks Skip! Slab also mentioned he wants a group picture of us with our tee shirts on. Will do Slab, thanks again!

I plan on getting my dad to smoke some ducks for us also. If you have never had this, you are in for a treat! Several people who claim they don't eat ducks, love my dad's smoked ducks!

    Updated list and head count:

bflowers (4) - dual burner stove, cast iron pots, oil, Zatarains fish fry, french fries, and chili Friday night. 30 cup coffee pot, coffee, and cups. He is in RV spot 19 close to the pavillion/lodge.

deacon (1) - egg plant for Saturday night. Hasn't decided on Friday night yet. He is in Cabin 16.

dpisani (1) - 2 pecan pies and 2 sweet potato pies, sweet tea, and tamales for Friday night. He has a camp close by, will be with Chris (ceegee).

shadow (3) - desert, shrimp for Saturday night. His dad will smoke some ducks as well. He is in Cabin 12.

tracker123 (2) - fajitas, pico de gallo, and tortillas for Friday night. I'll pipe up later what I'll bring for Saturday night to cover the bases. Thus far, Ann (my wife) will be baking cornbread while there. I'll also bring the plates and plastic ware. Working on the signs, banner, and ditty bags/door prizes. Will keep you updated. We are in Cabin 3.

prefers shiners (2) - paper towels, oil, zatarains, brisket, garbage bags. He and Didi are in Cabin 17.

MOslab (2) - soft drinks. He is in Cabin 2.

ceegee (1) - lasagna and dessert for Saturday. He will be in a camp close by with dpisani (Danny).

Dr. Tad (2) - will bring what we don't have covered. I'll post once we get close. He is in Cabin 4.

Thunter (4) - taco soup with all the trimmings for Friday night. Also bringing a double burner with fry pots, etc. (thank you). He is in Cabin 1.

Doc (1) - nametags, sharpies, butt bites, ketchup, trash bags, aluminum trays, and a huge roll of aluminum foil. With Freebird in Cabin 11.

PawPawgene (2) - Friday shrimp of some kind, shrimp boules Saturday. They are in Cabin 5.

Freebird (1) - Chili for Friday night with all the fixings - cheese, sour cream, chips, and bowls. With Doc in Cabin 11.

bigjohn (1) - 7 layer dip and desserts for both nights. He is in Cabin 7.

Like I said before, the pavillion/lodge has a full kitchen to those who might need it (Friday and Saturday). Buster will have his big coffee pot there. Ann will be there both days. Plenty of chairs and tables. I'll do the ditty bags Friday night. The signs and banner are being made. One will by the turnoff to the pavillion/lodge with an arrow showing you the direction to it. Another in the cabin area once you drive in. The banner is for the pavillion/lodge. Once again, I want to thank our sponsers (two new):

RonDon - LAbaits.com (this guy really had to push to provide for us, thanks Ronny!)
    CenturyNovelty - my treat
skiptumylu - Skip will be there with his ties, thanks Skip.

Skip needs to know what sort of timing to be there for Friday evening. Meet and greet, hand out ditty bags, eat, or what? You guys let me know. He is just coming for a couple of hours with his wife. I am new at this so I don't know. I figure I'm doing it right, just let me know what to tell Skip.

Ya'all look at this list and add or subtract anything that you are bringing. Thanks again.

If you have room for a couple more folks my wife and I would like to come over Saturday night for the fish fry. She will bring a cake for sure and if anything else is needed let me know. We will be staying over at NTBSP Sat & Sun nights but we can boat or drive over to San Miguel. We will start out fishing at the Coop. Be in a white and blue Javelin. Sorry for the late notice. Was aware of the gathering for some time but had a prior commitment until yesterday.
    Thanks,

Hey Ron, we would enjoy you and your wife Saturday evening. The pavillion/lodge is large enough for lots of folks. The cake works, bring some fillets as well from the Coop or from the freezer if you have some. I'll add you to the list if you know you are coming. Thanks.

Thanks Randy. We are coming. Will bring some frozen filets and the cake. I have learned not to count on catching my supper. What time is the fish fry?

I'll let all the guys chime in with what time on Saturday evening would be best or when it's normally done, it doesn't matter to me. Thanks.
