Sounds like you have the makings for a good gumbo!! Bet that eel put up a good fight! I've caught a couple of them and they were hard to land. Best of luck to ya Jeff and have a good and happy 4th!!
.....but I sure love the people & food. Question- last night I went outside and I have this frog clinging to my door set up shop next to my yellow porch buglight. Yesterday I caught bass, crappie, white perch, & bream. Today I caught crappie, and a dandy 2ft plus eel.
Is it time to cook? I feel like Big Bayou Daddy is trying to tell me something.
Whats the recipe and what in heck do I do with the eel? Cut em in sections like Beanie Wienie or what?
Ok only half kidding. A fun & safe 4th to ya all in LA and God Bless America.
Jeff
