    Default Going south


    I'm headed to Little River (don't know why they call it that!) at Archie (Texico Town) in the morning. Worked last night and tonight after being off for 21 days on vacation. These 2 nights seem longer than my vacation, so I need a fishing break tomorrow!! Hope to aggravate ya'll with some fish pics tomorrow.

    Default Caught a few

    Got there at 8am and found the fish at 9am and they completely quit at 11:30am. Stayed until 1:30pm. Fished 5-7ft deep in 13ft water. White/silver/chart and Mississippi jigs with no hits on anything else. Not monsters, but good fish.

    Are you referring to the area southeast of Jena where the landing ramp
    is in front of a Texaco statiion? If I remember correctly you go over the
    levee and there is one ramp to the right & another to the left. Believe we
    went to the left ramp.

    Yea the ramp to the left goes to Old River and French Fork. The right goes to what they call Little River, but the real Little River goes thru Nebo and is formed by Dugdemonia and Castor creek. If you put in on the right and go down it, you'll run in to the Quachita or the Black at Jonesville. The Quachita and The Tensas make the Black at Jonesville.
