I powder coat mine but I've never used a sharpie; let us know if it holds up.
I hope you painted some of them "pank", LOL.........
I have some time to make up some jig heads lately. Been a little under the weather and haven't been out much. I powder coated several jig heads, mailnly white and some in Chartreuse. I think I read on a thread here where someone used Sharpies to mark up some jig heads. How durable is this method of coloroing the finer deatils on the jig heads. Mine sure do look good done this way. Just curious as to whether I have wasted my time or not.

whatever you do, do not bake them after you use the sharpie... I done some last year and they bubbled up where the eyes were drawn at.. The sharpie works, but I don't really know how long it holds up, I usually hang them up and lose them before anything gets wore out.. another thing to consider is Model paint, it comes with a tiny brush and you can put a small dot on the heads, and in more colors than just black.
You can't fish with a hung line!
I do use the automotive touch up paint a good bit for Gill covers and eyes, it comes in a little bottle with a tiny brush in it. It dries fast also. I will let U know how the sharpies work soon
ive used paint pens. michaels has the good ones. they work and hold up much much longer than a sharpie.
